What types of fabrics can I dye with Rit products?
Our All-Purpose Dye works best on natural fibers like cotton, wool, and silk. For synthetic materials like polyester or nylon, we recommend using Rit DyeMore specifically formulated for synthetics.
How long does shipping take for my order?
Standard shipping typically takes 3 to 7 business days within the continental United States. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout if you need your supplies sooner.
Can I return my dye if I change my mind?
We accept returns on unopened and unused products within 30 days of purchase. Due to the nature of the product, we cannot accept returns for items that have been opened or partially used.
Is Rit Dye safe for use in my washing machine?
Yes, Rit Dye is completely safe for your washing machine and will not damage the drum. We recommend running a 'cleaning cycle' with bleach and hot water immediately after dyeing to remove any residue.
Will the color fade after washing the dyed item?
To ensure long-lasting color and prevent bleeding, we highly recommend using Rit ColorStay Dye Fixative immediately after the dyeing process.
